The 1.5-million-sf Oceanwide Plaza, going up across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live

The 1.5-million-sf Oceanwide Plaza, going up across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live, will include a “lifestyle plaza,” 100 feet in the air, with 37,000 sf of outdoor amenity spaces. A 700-foot-long LED ribbon will wrap the plaza. And this mixed-use project will feature a 166,580-sf open-air retail galleria. CallisonRTKL provided the architectural design for the entire Oceanwide Plaza project (spatial design, floor plans, unit plans, layout, etc.) which encompasses all three towers and the retail galleria. CallisonRTKL also provided the interior design for both of the South Towers as well as TDS for the entire project. Studio Munge provided the interior finishes for the residences in the North Tower and interior design for the residential common areas and for the hotel in the North Tower.
